(daydreams about a bat protecting a wolf with a hurt & bleeding neck one night and the two of them becoming unlikely animal companions but its actually a werewolf and a vampire that both think they’ve befriended a wild animal)
(the vampire, flying around after feeding on some rats or whatever, spotting the hurt wolf): oh no! i should make sure that wolf is okay! oh dear its bleeding, ill try lead it to shelter so it can rest. this act of altruism for this innocent animal makes me feel better about my cursed existence
(the werewolf, that accidentally fell on a rock because their other wolf friend dared them to do a stunt): holy fuck can i control bats? what i that bat doing? why am i following a bat? am i hallucinating? do i have to look after this bat now?
the vampire and wolf keep bumping into each other in animal form, form a weird little non-verbal bond where neither wants to reveal that they’re a person in case it spooks their Wild Animal Friend, and they both hang out in this little cave the vampire found the first time they met. the werewolf is honestly happy that she has a place to sleep and stay away from human beings while shes changed!
one morning the vampire wakes up, realizing she accidentally fell asleep next to the wolf the night before and needing to get back to her house before the sun hits her, and instead sees a fully naked woman on the ground next to her. the woman looks alarmingly like a woman that also attends her weekly life drawing class
Actually it’s this: a carpet of poplar fluff burns to reveal the grass below at the Parque del Cidacos de Calahorra, Spain.
According to geographyrealm.com:The seed fluff produced by poplars is also highly flammable. The combustible seeds can quickly catch fire and burn off, leaving underlying grass and other vegetation untouched.
